After 40 years of retailing and wholesaling liquor, I have witnessed and experienced first-hand the struggles that both sectors experience when trying to keep up with the crippling power of big box movers. Unfortunately, a lot of the time, independent businesses are not equipped with the resources and tools to be able to give their product the opportunity to flourish and succeed.
Australia’s boutique liquor production has grown exponentially over the last 10 years, and once again the avenue for new sales is looking to become reliant on big powerhouse chains to sell their product.
With Boup I have created an environment that allows boutique producers to sell their products in a way that upholds their brand’s integrity and empowers the producer, all while mutually benefitting the customer. It is my hope that we can continue to celebrate and support the independent Australian producers that make this industry so vibrant.

No, there is no cost to become a Boup vendor.
Yes, the app is integrated with Australia Post.
There is a platform fee per transaction.
The platform is integrated with Stripe Connect. The vendor is paid directly within 48 hours and the transaction is seen immediately on the Stripe Connect dashboard.
All Boup vendors list a map address. When you click on a maker, the producer’s name and address will appear. This will enable directions and other information.
